Katie has been working magic with hair and makeup since 2004, She has worked in LA, NYC, and is now rooted on the New England Seacoast. Her passion for the industry and her work has been apparent since she was a child. Katie is constantly learning; applying her education to new trends and styles. Since 2019 she has been living her dream of owning her own salon with a mission of inviting clients and creatives to a space to express themselves and bring out their inner beauty! Katie’s specialties include mermaid hair color, bridal and full-glam makeup, and extensions. If you know Sparkle Katie, you know she leaves a bit of sparkle where ever she goes!
With 13 years of professional experience, I’m a New York native who completed beauty school at just 17. I've been involved in the portsmouth community for 12 years now! My approach to hair is rooted in both technical expertise and personalized client care, creating looks that not only elevate but also suit each individual’s lifestyle. I specialize in French Balayage, dimensional color for blondes and brunettes, and seamless gray coverage. I’m certified in Bellami hair extensions and continually refine my craft to deliver exceptional results. I spent five years in a L’Oréal Professionnel-sponsored, education-focused salon, where I was featured as a stylist for their NYC Academy and attended advanced training at their Soho location. I continue to dedicate time to my craft by attending classes to stay up to date with techniques and Trends. I'm a mom of 4 beautiful children and a Blonde French Bulldog, so when i'm not behind the chair i am a full time "Momager" and homeowner who enjoys plenty of beach/lake time or dinners on the seacoast.
Jillian is a Master Hair Stylist and has been in the hair industry since 2005. Most of her career has been spent on the Seacoast of New Hampshire from Hampton to Portsmouth. She spent over 2 years working as a Master Hair Stylist in Los Angeles, California working on Actors, Musicians, and Celebrities. Jillian has owned her own hair studio for the past 2 years and is excited to be back in a big salon to continue to further her skill set. When she is not working behind the chair she is usually chasing the Backstreet Boys around the world. Jillian has extensive knowledge of color and in particular blonding and specializes in tape in extensions.
‘Every one of my clients is unique, and every day is a new challenge, thats my favorite part” Michelle attended the Bumble & Bumble school for styling and product knowledge! She worked her way to the amazing color specialist she is today and can help you achieve your color goals...or come sit in her chair for some laughs and the best blowout of your life! When not at the salon, Michelle is with her family, at local parks, beaches, or museums! Or at home with a glass of wine, relaxing on the couch watching Bravo!
Chloi has been doing hair since 2015 and went to Paul Mitchell in Portsmouth. She always knew she had a passion for the industry, growing up with her grandmother who was also a hair stylist! Chloi’s specialty and favorite things to do are foils and Balayage. She thrives on natural sun-kissed look for her guests. When not at work she is either hanging out on the couch with her cat Loki or catching a sunset. She also enjoys cooking, exercise, and getting into DIY crafts and music.
